The hectic weeks have finally come to a closure as far as I can tell. It ended unceremoniously with me getting only at most 3 hours of sleep for the last two nights having to do some final touch ups on a 3weeks-spend assignment all crammed into the final week. This was not because of my infamous procrastination though. It was the busiest stretch so far. Man.. I'm so glad everything is close to over.

Having to sleep late and to get up early the very next day is not good at all for health reasons. I think that explains the coughs. On the first of the last two nights, my brain felt so drained after a dose of Maths lectures. All I could think of was sleep and not numbers. So then I set my alarm to wake me at 3 (Not sure if this got into my head that night). As my backup, I told Wenn to call me persistently at that time as well before shutting myself down at around 1 something after. I had to burden her this time but it is not like that's a big trouble, NZ is 5 hours ahead now and PLUS she is having a week's break because of Raya. At 3, do the Maths. Thanks xkins :) So yup my alarm went off at 3, snooze. A minute or so later, the phone rang. "Time to wake up! Don't be lazy.." was the only few words I recall aside from some "mushy" ones. :P I told her I'm sooooo tired and she spared me another hour of hibernation. It was at 4 (on the dot), I jumped when the phone rang again. I got up this time to freshen up. When I got back to my room, I was on my bed again sailing fast to dreamland. What happened next? Yes she was persistent enough to check on me at 5 then 6. Every hour. PERSISTENT! Thank you.

The next night, a similar case happened but the phone only rang once. :P That's either because I was up .. or at least, I sounded WIDE AWAKE. What do you think?

Resting beside my table was a can of "V" and a bottle of RedBull. I could have gotten a burst of caffeine for a boost through the rough wee hours. But I resisted the temptation.

I pity my fellow Malay friends who had the Maths test on the first day of their New Year. Can't imagine having to study a day before Chinese New Year. But it's all over anyhow... :)) Good gracious. I heard some cried till they got a headache or something after calling their parents and relatives back home. "Heimweh haben" .. translation "To be homesick". Yesss... It is the time of the year to feel so aside from your first arrival. Speaking about that, my buddies have already gone back to their Northern territories. I feel the roughness of time dealt upon them awaiting their flight. Sorry guys but you all will be good back there too, no worries. I miss having them around. Then a thought hit me, when it is time for them to fly back, then it will SOON be my time for a great return to a place called home! Yeaps!

Ohh .. The 2008 UMSA board have stepped down, and the new board have been elected. Guess who's in and who's out? Congrats to all that was hand "ticked" (Think Nike).
