Shubb CAPO !
What's that familiar looking thing? It looks like those "Apit-G" we used to use for our K.H. (Kemahiran Hidup .. =P) project. Ahh.. those were the days.. HOUR after HOUR, DAYS.. WEEKS, probably MONTHS. Those were how long we spent in the school's workshop from form 1, form 2 and form 3 total up.
No, no, no, beach party in there, we did not ..
Sun sand surf !
What we did was ..
.. Saw saw and more sawing .. breathing in saw dust every seconds! Great aye? ;) Of course! We practically did everything in there laughing, chatting, yekking, mostly procrastinating .. Oldays, back then we were HUGE procrastinators .. until the very last minute like a week before our wood work project was due. That's when we started panic-kinG .. in the same workshop too! :P So much better than a warm sandy beach, ask anyone of my clicks and they would tell you so.
"WHAT .. A WEEK TO GO???!!" .. everyone yelled at an instant. The gold-rush starts! No more old grandmother tales for everyone were busy pushing, smacking around painting, carving, looking high and low for tools but still the laughter would not stop. That's what I like about it. So eventually, at the very end, we MANAGEd everything in just a single week. The results..
A beauty ! :P .. It really is not too bad for a week's work. See the JL, its MINE! (Ignore the reflection. My project's on DISPLAY, sitting gracefully behind a glass. Image special thanks to: ZeonD) PROUD! :pfft..!! Now if you were to look back at those times, you would not just NOT laugh. =D
Back to the Apit-G look-alike,
Current mood: Sleepy, NOT feeling cold.
It functions just like one *Apit-G*. Cost RM69. Don't look at me, I didn't really want to buy it. Who would pay so much for a piece of metal junk like that?! But Dad.. gave me the 'go-ahead', the 'nod', the 'green-lights' .. whatever you name it, it was a YES from dad. :P I conclude, he wanted it. winks* So anyways.. I told Mum about it and she was like "Long term investment". I was like .. OK! and fell silent. For its function, yeah, exactly like an Apit-G except not on wood but rather strings.
Says Wikipedia (ehem! As what every professor or lecturer would say "Citations" otherwise it would be "Plagiarism") --> "Capos are used to change the key and pitch of a guitar sound without having to adjust the strings with the tuning keys. It should be noted that the capo is placed as close to the fret as possible." There you go. Now that all is explained, I can now peacefully begin turning my attention away from this bloody blog back to my guitar .. now with the Capo ! Ahaa.. Jamming down town all night long xP
